Julian is a sought-after educator with a flourishing reputation through 10 years of experience in organ tuition to all ages and ranging from early grades to undergraduate.
He teaches organ at the University of London, and is a regional consultant for the Royal College of Organists in the East of England, regularly tutoring on RCO study days. Julian’s teaching experience also encompasses the tutoring of students on the Organ Scholarship Programme of St Peter Mancroft, Norwich. Julian re-established the programme which has proved a resounding success, his students having won scholarships and competitions and gained places at conservatoire and Oxbridge. More recently, Julian’s organ teaching in London has also won plaudits.
